SuperCon Experiences plus SAMPLER IS READY!!!

First and foremost, I must say "I'm sorry" once again for keeping the people waiting. But I guess it's just taking some time for me to recover from the awesomeness that was the Animation SuperCon 2009 event in Miami that took place October 2 - 4. It was at this event that I've met the voice actors for some of my favorite cartoon characters of all-time. I've met Phil LaMarr, John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche and Rob Paulsen! Truly it was an extraordinary event.

But one thing can't be forgotten, the PLuGHiTz Posse was out there for the goal of pushing the Alpha 3 movement to the max, and boy did we ever do that! Hundreds of sampler CDs for the O.E.M.: Our Everlasting Movement mixtape were released for the folks in attendance at the event, and we surely got a lot of positive feedback since that event!

One thing that really put us over at the event though was thanks to two friends who entered SuperCon Wrestling as the Mario Bros as well, also gotta give props to the guy who ran the event [he was the SCW Heavyweight Champion playing as Karl from Aqua Teen Hunger Force]. With the help of these wonderful fellows, we saw the Super Mario Bros. come out to the ring with my "Culture Shock (Super Mario Edition)" track as their theme song. Seeing that crowd erupt with an Alpha 3 song playing as the Super Mario Bros. interacted with the crowd was one of the most awesome moments I think I've ever felt.

All-in-all, I'd have to say Animation SuperCon was quite an event for both Alpha 3 and the PLuGHiTz team. But don't worry folks, in case you want to get at the sampler CD that was passed around during the event, you can still get a little piece of that. In this sampler, you'll get a preview of what to expect from the full mixtape when that comes out. It will be a good one to hear as we venture down the music road. And trust me, all the tracks on the sampler are FIYAH! So you already know how the full mixtape will be! Expect Alpha 3 to have more to say a lot more frequently as this will be "Go" time for us to really push ourselves into the known. Enjoy the ride!
